Connect Performa to USB HP Printer
I have a Macintosh Performa 637CD computer, I would like to hook it up to a Hewlett Packard 882C printer. How do I get a link for the two? Hopefully you can help. Or at least tell me what printer will work with this Mac.. Thank you in advance.

The only option for connecting your Performa to a printer is to use the printer port on the back of the computer or to add an Ethernet network card to your performa and connect the printer to the wired Ethernet network. Your specific model of printer does not have Ethernet capability out of the box.
As far as I know, it's not possible to add USB to any Performa computers. Keep in mind that the Performas were made during the mid-1990's -- several years before USB was even implemented in computers. The original Apple iMac computer was the first computer to include USB standard in 1998.
