I have a macbook OS X 10.4.10, which I purchased July 06. About a month or so ago the macbook developed a high pitched whine which starts about 5 minutes after it has been turned on. It's quite annoying, although the system appears to be running fine. I've been reading that some people have had similar problems with macbooks - is there anything that can be done without costly repairs? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
